Coach needed for girls football program

LIHUE — Tuesday is the first day of October, which is recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. And the Kauai Committee on the Status of Women (KCSW) is holding a sign waving campaign on Tuesday to maximize observance of the month.

LIHUE — The YWCA of Kauai and its community partners, including Hoike Kauai Community Television, KKCR Kauai Community Radio, the Kauai Planning and Action Alliance and the Zonta Club of Kauai will be hosting a two-day community forum on Oct. 2 and 3 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall.
