Kudos to Stephanie Iona (did it take as long as the Pau Hana Market giveaway?), Warren Haruki and all those Kaua‘i Pop Warner Football League elves (they were helping last week at the Kekaha Neighborhood Center, too) on cranking out more than 200 pumpkins on Saturday during the Grove Farm Market in Puhi. Mel Rapozo (wife Patsy Rapozo was helping with the KPWFL crew!) had photos of his Warren Haruki tomatoes that were starting to get color.

Dominque Chambers of Cozy Bowl (real fancy noodles) created an ulu noodle and turned it into an ulu pasta salad (is that going to be available at the Grove Farm Market?) that everyone was grinding during the Aloha Market hosted by the National Tropical Botanical Garden South Shore Visitor Center in Kukui‘ula, where Elvrine Chow of Heavenly Haku (what kind of fancy flower is cover the hoya?) had some pre-made wristlets for shoppers wanting a grab-and-go floral piece.
