Gerri Bolosan (yes, she and a group of other wahine artists, including former Mayor Maryanne Kusaka, still do their weekly painting sessions, no longer at Niumalu where the feeling has changed. They now do it at the Kaua‘i Museum) had the company of Patricia Viquelia Saturday during the craft fair (Grove Farm is going to do this every other month now!) that tagged on to the weekly Grove Farm Market.

Kudos to Mia Pauletto and the Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation committee for adjusting the KIF paddling schedule to accommodate the Island School varsity boys, who had soccer after paddling, and kudos to the Voyagers involved who went out and captured first place in the varsity boys long-distance race (good sportsmanship, too, for cheering on the Waimea and Kapa‘a crews before paddling back to the transition area).
