Hundreds of people lined the streets of Kuhio Highway in Kapaa for the annual Veterans Day Parade that honored generations of veterans through its “Time Was Served, Time to Honor” theme.

Year of the Paniolo
The Koloa Plantation Days, “Year of the Paniolo,” will close this weekend with a gala pau hana party, The Flavors of Kukuiula starting at 5:30 p.m. for an evening of street food done up, plantation style, and capped with the Wally Rita Y Los Kauaianos providing kachi-kachi music.
