They’re back! JC Crouch said the Kaua‘i Senior Softball league opens its 2024 season on Saturday when Mayor Derek S.K. Kawakami is invited to throw out the first pitch to Rep. Dee Morikawa at the opening ceremonies that will take place at Pat Baniaga field, next door to the Hanapepe Stadium on Saturday morning (the seniors play ball in earnest after that).

Warriors, Red Raiders get KIF hoop wins
LIHU‘E — Kapa‘a High School picked up its second varsity win, and Kaua‘i High School was fueled by Joshua Rego for the Red Raiders’ first win in Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation boys basketball games at Clem Gomes Gym in Waimea and Wilcox Gymnasium at Island School.
