West Kaua‘i Lions Club host Easter fun in Kekaha
KEKAHA — According to Lion Eric Nordmeier of the West Kaua‘i Lions Club, the annual Easter Egg Project brought out nearly a hundred participants ages 1 through 12 years old on Sunday to the Kekaha Faye Park and Neighborhood Center Complex, or more commonly known as the Kekaha ball park.

Killarney Swim Club Coach Mike Meldrum said there are snow warnings for Thursday in Calgary, Canada. Meldrum, a swimmer in the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea, has been bringing his KSC swimmers to Kaua‘i since 2008 to participate with Swim Kaua‘i Aquatics athletes at the SKA meets.

Red Raiders sweep KIF tennis; Warriors split
LIHU‘E — Kaua‘i High School tennis swept its series over Waimea High School — 5-0, 5-0 — and Island School split its series against Kapa‘a with the Voyagers taking a 3-2 win over the Warrior boys, and the Warrior wahine getting a 3-2 edge during the Saturday matches contested at the new Kaua‘i High School tennis courts and the Po‘ipu Kai tennis courts.

Ocean Count wraps up in Hawaiian Islands
AHUKINI LANDING — During the final Sanctuary Ocean Count for 2024 held on Saturday, a grand total of 855 whales were seen from the shorelines of Kaua‘i, O‘ahu, Moloka‘i, Hawai‘i Island, Lana‘i and Maui.
