LIHU‘E — The more than 1,000 walkers are done with their 3-mile loop at the 45th annual Visitor Industry Charity Walk. The breakfasts are gone and the slippahs have been packed away for next year.
Free dog spay and neuter on Mother’s Day
KAPA‘A — The Kaua‘i Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) announced that spaces are available for the free monthly spay and neuter services or Kaua‘i residents’ dogs and cats.

Earth Day is more than removing debris at PMRF
MANA — Pacific Missile Range Facility’s MC2 Bodie Estep reported that more than 208 pounds of trash was removed from the Waiokapua Bay, currently known as Majors Bay, beach area on Friday as an Earth Day activity.
