LIHUE — On June 8 The Power Plus team traveled to Oahu to compete in the Hawaiian Muscle Bodybuilding and Ms. Figure and Bikini Diva Competition.
Their trainer and masters bodybuilding competitor Kevin Jones is the owner of Power Plus Personal Training located on Kauai. The contest is a drug free competition sanctioned with the International Natural Bodybuilding Association and Professional Natural Bodybuilding Association, the largest natural bodybuilding organization in the world.
Jones brought home first place in Men’s Masters Bodybuilding, Shelley Anderson captured first place in Jr. Masters Women’s Figure, first place in Jr. Masters Women’s Bikini Divas, Ms. Figure overall and Pro Qualifying Champion. Rose Lalin received first place for Ms. Masters Physique, first place in Ms. Masters Figure, and Cindy Oda took first place in Masters Bikini Diva’s and second place in Ms. Masters Figure. Team Power Plus also won the team trophy.
The Power Plus team will be at Vitamin World at Kukui Grove Center delivering health and fitness advice on June 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
