Free health and wellness activities for children and families are on tap Saturday at the Wilcox Health Kids Summer Fest.
“We are committed to providing families on Kauai with top quality health care,” said Kathy Clark, CEO of the G.N. Wilcox Memorial Hospital and Kauai Medical Clinic. “Every year, we put on the Kids Summer Fest to promote healthy lifestyle choices and educate the public about childhood injury prevention.”
The Kids Summer Fest promotes a healthy, active lifestyle for keiki that focuses on exercise, nutrition, safety and injury prevention. Free sports physicals for kids ages 5 through 18 , health-related workshops, snacks and prizes will be available.
Registration starts at 9 a.m. with activities going from 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Smith’s Tropical Paradise in the Wailua Marina.
Dr. S. Kalani Brady will be doing emcee duties.
