Daphne McClure was in Honolulu over the weekend, but Kylee and Nia Klutke from Colorado were here helping Sandi Kato-Klutke, Max Klutke and John McClure (he’s got some of the Kauai Grown cacao, honey and coffee fudge) at the Moloaa Bay Coffee Co. truck on Saturday.
Perhaps it was the Grove Farm Swap Meet across the street (Ron Wiley was enjoying a Kauai PONY 13’s malasada), but Sandi still had sushi so Laurie Ho could get some to enjoy with out-of-town guests at the beach.
Daphne is going to see if she can find hanafuda cards (Wikipedia tells you how to play the game) since Joyce Takahashi told her Marukai has them. But if Honolulu doesn’t, Sueoka Store has them at the counter.
The Grove Farm people were everywhere on Saturday. Marissa Sandblom took care of the swap meet with Sharyl Lam Yuen, while Arryl Kaneshiro (Koloa Plantation Days parade chair) helped out at the Maluhia Road Tree Tunnel cleanup.
