Moises Burgonio Sorio Sr.
Moises Burgonio Soria Sr., of Puhi passed away at home on July 23, 2013, at the age of 91. He was born in the Philippines on June 6, 1922, and retired from Grove Farm Museum as a groundskeeper.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Francisca Soria Alviar.
He is survived by his wife, Editha Soria; seven children, Gloria (Roger) Saraos; Vicente (Gloria) Soria; Loida (Roy) Neumann; Lemuel (Elizabeth) Soria; Glenda (Elmer) Cabulisan; Eunice (Elmer) Burgonio; Moises (Tasha) Soria Jr.; 15 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Leonora “Nida” Soria; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2013, at Lihue United Church with visitation from 8:30 a.m. and services celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Lihue Cemetery.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the Soria family with arrangements.
