KAPAA — The Kapaa swimming pool facility will be closed for the first phase of its renovation for about six weeks starting today.
Pacific Concrete Cutting and Coring was contracted to demolish the men’s and women’s shower rooms. The pump room will also be repaired, cleaned and repainted.
While the work is being done, the Kapaa pool staff will take the opportunity to drain and clean the swimming pool.
The next phase of the renovation is planned for later this year.
