Kauai Community College chefs Martina Hilldorfer and Mark Oyama were treated to a visit by U.S. Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, but had refreshments ready to go.
Since Kauai CC opened Monday, the cafeteria is up and running, although Mel Bacio had to tend the steam table so the students could do their studying.
On the subject of food, since Wesley Elmore wanted to know what the favorite food was at the farm fair, what is the best dish at the Lihue United Church’s Labor Day breakfast Monday?
Actually, the entire breakfast experience is unique, and if you’re lucky, maybe Bradford Kaeo will be there, again.
This is the weekend of the Kauai Marathon, so plans accordingly.
