Kudos to Sandi Nadatani-Mendez (she’s also a good basketball coach) and Bryanna Pacleb on a great job coordinating this year’s Project Wet Make A Splash hosted by the Department of Water.
Kim Tamaoka, the new community relations person, was supposed to be in charge, but Sandi said they don’t throw people under the bus so helped put everything together.
Bekki Malapit was busy tending to the student activity packs and lamented the fact she couldn’t speak to Kalaheo School principal Erik Burkman about the event.
John Kaneholani was one of the Hanalei School chaperones and said he was looking ahead to making the food for Kapaa’s Homecoming game Saturday.
Kudos to, MaBel Fujiuchi and the Zonta Club who got help from Carroll Gerow, president-elect of the Zonta Club of Hanalei, and friends in putting together the Friends project to help Jessica Clabo (Milani Pimental had AYSO soccer) and the Habitat for Humanity.
