Pat Pablo started out early Saturday and didn’t end until late since she was busy helping at the Walk to End Alzheimer’s and following the walk, moved over to the Kauai Veterans Center where she was helping at the food booth at the Kauai Veterans Council bon dance.
Mady (Karin Panui said it means ‘little maiden’ in German) Otani was taking care of Mailelani since Karin was going to dance. Annette Hashimoto had her family out in force at the craft fair (Tayni had to come straight from work), and Vanessa Louis said she’ll be selling at the First Saturday near the First Hawaiian Church this weekend.
Milani Pimental was at the opening games for the AYSO Region 940, and Pam Arroyo couldn’t make the Alzheimer’s walk since the Kauai Pop Warner Football League opened its 2013 season in Hanapepe.
Kudos to Kauai Fire Chief Robert Westerman and the Kauai firefighters for their efforts at filling the boot for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
