Recommended by manager Sarah Martin, I was served the “Light White Wine Sangria” (pitcher $25; glass $8).
Prepared with white table wine (Chablis), lilikoi and pineapple pieces and pineapple juice, this colorfully looking and refreshing beverage is a delicious dinner starter.
The Hibiscus Cooler, which the menu calls, “A beauty,” is a beverage made with pineapple juice blended with hibiscus iced tea and mint ($4). Coming in from a hot day on the beach, the drink is a refreshing choice that will wake up your senses with the hint of mint. And beauty it is.
Owners Marti and Joseph Paskal have developed a separate wine menu that is sure to satisfy a variety of tastes. Marti’s brother, Richard, who helps with the choices, is a wine store owner off island and a wine connoisseur. With wines from Argentina, Portugal, California, France and Germany to name a few, it is safe to say their selection could cover the tastes of people from all four corners of the world.
