Miguel Constantino
Miguel G. Constantino of Kaumakani passed away on Nov. 27, 2013 at his home at the age of 100 and 6months. Born on May 8, 1913 in Tarlac, Philippines, he was a Machine operator with Olokele Sugar Company.
Preceded in death by his parents, Bernabe and Tuna Constantino; and daughter Felicidad Constantino.
He is survived by his wife, Julita C. Constantino; sons, Agelio (Lolita) Constantino of Kaumakani and Benedicto (Venida) Constantino of Hanapepe; daughter, Rosalina Flores of Las Vegas; twenty grandchildren; sixty great-grandchildren; thirty-six great-great-grandchildren; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held on Dec. 7, 2013 at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel in Lawai at 11 am, with visitation from 9 to 11 am. Burial to follow at Hanapepe Public Cemetery. Casual attire.

Inocencio Efhan
Inocencio “Sancho” Efhan of Kapaa passed away peacefully at home on November 9, 2013, at the age of 82. He was born in Kapaa, Kauai on October 10, 1931. A veteran of the United States Marines and United States Coast Guard, he retired as a cook from Kauai Surf and The Westin Hotel. He was an avid bowler.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ciriaca and Tiofilo Efhan; brothers, Alfredo; Lorenzo; Francisco; Maximo and Juan Efhan; sisters, Patricia Chapman; Mary Louis and Rosita Efhan; granddaughter, Shawnte “Keala” Efhan Jaquias.
He is survived by his wife, Mercedes Efhan of Kapaa; daughters, Bernie (Harlan) Nakae of Kapaa; Suzie Efhan of Kalaheo; Sherrie (Norman) Duterte of Kapaa; Val Yadao of Puhi; Lulu (Wilbert) Cummings of Puhi; sons, Gregory “Teo” Efhan of Anahola; Aaron (Janis) Efhan of Lihue; 23 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren; siblings, Gary (Judith) Efhan of California; Vicente (Helga) Efhan of Kapaa; Henry (Priscilla) Efhan of Kapaa; hanai sister, Lorraine Efhan of Kapaa; hanai brother, Larry (Mary) Ephan of Lawai; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Kauai Veterans Cemetery Pavilion beginning at 9:00 a.m. Inurnment to follow.
Kauai Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home assisted the Efhan family with arrangements.
Eremio Cabutaje
Eremio Vergara Cabutaje of Hanamaulu passed away at home on November 27, 2013, at the age of 65. He was born in San Jose, NE, Philippines on September 9, 1948, and worked at Cliffs at Princeville and Wyhndam Hotels as maintenance personal.
He is survived by his wife, Mercedes C. Cabutaje; daughter, Joanne (Roderick)Cabutaje Geronimo; sons, Eddie Cabutaje and Edwin Furomoto, all of Hanamaulu; 3 grandchildren; brother, Ernesto (Juliana) Cabutaje of Kapaa; sisters, Violeta C. (Rosario) Ragasa of Molokai, Lydia (Juanito) Dela Cruz, Felisa (Roberto) DeGuzman, Beatrice Duco all of the Philippines; numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held on Dec. 7, 2013, at St. Catherine Church with viewing from 9 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.

Johnny Stark
Johnny Stark of Kekaha passed away on November 10, 2013 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 77. Born on July 5, 1936 in Wichita, Kansas, he was a Cashier at Home Depot.
Preceded in death by his parents, Bert Weingand and Geneva Weingand.
He is survived by his son, John Michael Stark of Lake Forrest, CA; three daughters, Deborah Weingand of Laguna Beach, CA, Rhonda Sokulski of Henderson, NV, and Francine Tagle of Ladera Ranch , CA; brother, Bill (Christine) Weingand of Koloa; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held on Dec. 7, 2013 at the Hanapepe Salvation Army Chapel at 2 pm, with visitation from 1 to 2 pm. Casual attire is suggested and omit flowers.
