Kudos to the Kauai High School Leo Club, which was doing double-duty, ringing The Salvation Army Red Kettle (Rosemary Reder said Major Mario Reyes wants her to do an encore performance, too) at Kmart and helping at the Christmas edition of Family Bingo Night at Kukui Grove Wednesday.
Jonell Kaohelaulii said the event was co-sponsored by Regency at Puakea where Sharon Lasker was checking in game participants and Chuck Lasker readied the computer which did the spinning and Eunice McDermott was back helping the kupuna who came out.
Melissa McFerrin-Warrack said Friday night is the Flavors of Kukuiula from 5 to 7 p.m. Ann Yamamoto said her house is all decorated for Christmas, too, and John Hoff said his son decorated an 80-foot Norfolk pine on the borderline of Lawai and Koloa.
And then, it’s off to the Waimea Lighted Parade, where Jean Souza said Waimea High School Project Grad will have a station set up near the Shrimp Station.
