Deadline for scholarships Jan. 31

Jan. 31 is the deadline for high school seniors to submit applications for a $5,000 Hawaii Rotary Youth Foundation scholarship.  

Kauai’s public, private, charter and GED high school seniors can obtain an application by contacting any high school college counselor; any of the five Kauai Rotary Clubs; downloading the application at www.rotaryd5000.org or contacting Sunny Bunyan, 826-5566

Applications must be sent to the Rotary Club near where students live or go to school.

Each Rotary Club will select its own scholarship candidate.
