Happy birthday to Dr. Erin Newman who celebrated her special day with husband Ryan, the minister at the All Saints Episcopal Church in Kapaa Saturday at the rummage sale and Interact Club of Kapaa High School car wash.
Birthdays are everywhere as Jerry Guerber’s daughter, Jenie Eitel, flew in from the Mainland to celebrate with Jerry and Justin Guerber on Friday.
Mahalo to Sharron Weber (how many of you know she was Woman of the Year 2013?) for the heads-up on Jerry’s birthday.
Kristen Cimino and Sue Saultes flew in from Huntington Beach to get a growler from the Kauai Beer Co., and said Sharron is “in the cement” on Main Street in Huntington Beach.
Sharron was also playing tour guide to John and Marie Rankin of San Diego who were honeymooning on Kauai where Sharron learned John was the science teacher for her sister at Poway High School back in the 1970s.
