HONOLULU — The state of Hawaii will participate in National Invasive Species Awareness Week.
Gov. Neil Abercrombie will kick off the week with a proclamation at 9 a.m. Monday at the Capitol Auditorium.
As part of the week, volunteer statewide events will take place, including clearing invasive weeds along the Kaluapuhi Trail in Kokee Wednesday.
