Woody Medford drove all around town looking for a television set in August, said Shannon Davidson. He finally found one at Rob’s Good Times Grill in the Rice Shopping Center.
“I had good seats for a Colorado Rockies baseball game, and after Woody found out, he went looking for a TV set,” Shannon said. “Now, we’re getting married next year.”
Rob Silverman, owner of Rob’s, said when Woody saw Shannon on TV, he told the waitress, “I’m going to marry that girl.”
Woody proposed to Shannon during her visit to Kauai on Thanksgiving, and on Sunday, the couple made it back to Rob’s to watch the National Football League Super Bowl. Shannon spent time outside after the Seattle Seahawks had their way with the Denver Broncos.
Mahalo to Jo Ann, Art “Pops,” Art “Junior” and Jared Diaz for joining with the Rob’s ohana (Lolly Silverman had beads for all!) for a great tailgate party!
