LIHUE — The Garden Nile Belly Dancers will headline “A Celebration of Life” a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at JJ’s Broiler in Nawiliwili.
The fundraiser is hosted by ACS’s Relay for Life team, The Crab Conquerors. In addition to an evening of entertainment, the event will honor anyone who has been affected by cancer.
Guitarist Jonathan Reid will play in the upstairs dining room over no-host cocktails and no-host pupus.
Entertainment will continue throughout the night.
Other performers will include acoustical guitarist Jonathan Reid of The Lost Pelican Band, Kumu Hula Leihiilani Kirkpatrick of Halau Ka Lei Kukui Hiilani, and dancing until close with DJ Kawhileiwhilei.
The event will raise funds for cancer research and programs.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door and are available at: Scotty’s Music, Rob’s Good Time Grill, Kauai Music and Sound and Strings and Things or from any Crab Conqueror team member.
