LIHUE — A man born with no arms and no legs will give a presentation Sunday that is free and open to the public.
Nick Vujicic, 31, will be at War Memorial Convention Hall. The program will run 6 to 8:30 p.m.
Vujicic, who spoke to more than 1,000 people at the Mayor’s Prayer Luncheon last weekend, will also be visiting several Kauai schools next week as part of an anti-bullying campaign. His most recent book is “Stand Strong: You Can Overcome Bullying (and Other Stuff That Keeps You Down).”
His faith in God, he said, gives strength and courage to take on great challenges.
“I lack limbs, but I’ve hung in there and come through some major storms,” Vujicic wrote
Vujicic has refused to accept limits on what he can do. He is a husband and father. He is a college graduate, author, motivational speaker, evangelist and started a nonprofit, “Life Without Limbs.
He has traveled to over 54 countries and his books have been translated into 30 different languages.
