United States Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard will be the guest of honor when the Kauai County Committee on the Status of Women hosts its gathering from 6 to 8 p.m. March 19 at the Kauai Museum courtyard.
Celebrating March as Women’s History Month, Gabbard will be speaking about her life, education, military service, and political career as one of the “Hawaii Women of Inspiration.”
“Tulsi is making history in Hawaii and across the nation,” said Edie Ignacio-Neumiller, vice chair of the Committee on the Status of Women. “Although she’s only 32 years old, Tulsi has already accomplished a lot, and serves as a great role model.”
The Kauai County Committee on the Status of Women invites the public, and especially young women to visit and listen to Gabbard.
