A Honda sedan traveling east on Kaumualii Highway, near the Maluhia Road junction, rear-ended a Chevrolet SUV about 7 a.m. The impact caused the SUV to rear-end a Toyota sedan.
The 35-year-old woman driving the Chevy, and the 31-year-old female driver of the Honda were transported by ambulance to Wilcox Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The 51-year-old female operator of the Toyota did not report any injuries.
Officers directed alternating traffic flow for roughly an hour while crews cleared the eastbound lane. The highway was reopened about 8 a.m.
