LIHUE — Current Kauai Complex Area Academic Officer Carol Shikada will soon be at the helm of Kauai High School.
Superintendent Bill Arakaki confirmed that Shikada will replace Debbie Lindsey on July 1. Shikada has been serving in the Kauai school district in a variety of positions including her current one since December 2010.
Previous positions include director of Office of Curriculum of the Student Support Branch for the Office of Curriculum Instruction and Student Support from July 2009 to December 2010 and principal of Kekaha Elementary School from October 2005 to June 2007.
Lindsey has taken a position as the assistant head of school at Kamehameha Schools Kapalama campus.
