Rebecca Smith was super busy, juggling between getting photos at the Kauai Chamber of Commerce (senatorial forum coming up July 1) and helping Valerie Saiki at the Coalition for a Tobacco-Free Hawaii new Chamber member table Tuesday night.
Former Kauai Police Chief George Freitas was making everyone ono for malasada with all the talk about the Portuguese event coming up at the Kauai Museum where he said Elizabeth will be garbed in a “real” Portuguese dress.
Kudos to Central Pacific Bank for hosting the event where Linda Okayama got the camera to photograph Jared, Justin Doi, Alex Hashimoto, Kaisen Carillo (his mama was the super-duper fundraiser for the Visitor Industry Charity Walk) and Clianne Mancia were honored.
Wednesday came and went and Jeri Lynne Stewart made it on her own. Hopefully, Capt. Charles An is safely on his way to the next Instant Readiness Training, and one last mahalo to Col. Susan Fitzgerald (she and her senior officers were guests of Barbara Gusman and Jaye Youn at the Chamber meeting) and all those great military professionals on a great Tropic Care Kauai.
