KAPAA — Eli Unutoa scored a game-high 18 points to lead the Division 3 Kauai Ballers boys basketball team to a 24-21 edge over Team Lihue Tuesday night at the Bernice Hundley Gym in Kapaa.
Kila Hepa added the remaining six points in the victory.
Division 3 includes students in sixth and seventh grades.
David Pascua and Keane Tibon led the Team Lihue effort with five and four points, respectively.
In the nightcap of the Kaulupono Basketball Summer League, Aiden Offley dropped seven points, including a first-half trey, to lead Team Central Black to a 21-5 win over Team Central White in the second Division 3 boys basketball game.
Jayden Felipe-Calapatia, Travis Duran and Kaimani Tecson each dropped four points in the win.
Kurtis Fujito-Pascua netted all five of the Team Central White points.
