KALAHEO — Papalina basketball teams dropped two of its matches Thursday night during the Kaulupono Summer Basketball League games at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center.
Junah Corpuz, Marty Lacierna and Michael Dasalia each netted 10 points to lead the Team Central, Division 1, or students in the 10 to 12 grades, to a 46-25 win over Papalina who got eight points from Trey Taba, including a pair of treys in the first half.
Taegan Keep, the low post for Kaulupono-Gold, posted a game-high 16 points to lead its 45-19 win over Kaulupono-Blue in a girls Division 1 matchup.
Following Keep, Monique Lorenzo ended with 10 points, Kaelyn Kamakele added seven marks, with Kaelee Esposo and Marissa Martinez each bucketed six points.
Cierra Tanicala topped the Kaulupono-Blue effort on 10 points with Dawn Serapio adding six points.
• Coach Fran Constantino stirred her Supersonics, Division 4, or students in fourth and fifth grades to a fever pitch. Mayson Broyles dropped a three-ball in the second half to lead the 19-4 win over Papalina.
Aden Ringor added six points and Bryce Fernandez finished with four points.
Mare’yon scored all four of Papalina’s points in the first half.
