Matthew Oliver of Yanagi Sushi Kauai, aka The Dragon Wagon, had some celebrated visitors Saturday following the historic Koloa Plantation Days parade and park celebration.
Jake Vaughn, a child actor from Orange County, California, was spending time enjoying the sushi and cold drinks with John Vaughn, his grandfather, and family.
John and Geneva Vaughn were spending their 50th anniversary on the island, celebrating with Jake and sister Jenna’s (mom said she just finished a motion picture last week, too) parents, John (Jr.) and Janet Vaughn.
Chris Vaughn missed out on the excitement as he was cruising with Emily, grandpa said. Some of Jake’s credits include Madeas (2013), All My Children, where he was on the lineup for several years, Petals on the Wind (2014, TV movie), and more listed on the IMBd website.
OK, time to get ready for Jo Manea and the Heiva i Kauai this Saturday and Sunday at the Kapaa Beach Park.
