The first hoolaulea hosted by “In dis Life,” a group headed by Glenn Kapahu, is scheduled Sept. 13 at the Waimea Canyon Park.
Students from Ke Kula O Niihau and Ke Kula Aupuni as well as performers from Kumu Doric Yaris’ hula halau will be part of the entertainment schedule.
There will be games, crafts, a display and exhibit on “In dis Life” and food booths. Additionally, there will be a kickball tournament, “Portegee Horseshoe Throwing Tournament, and a variety of bounce houses and water features for keiki.
