Daniel Erickson said there is still room for students interested in enrolling for ENRG 101 – Introduction to Sustainable Energy Technology.
The pilot program is one of the sustainability courses under the Hoouluwehi program at Kauai Community College and Daniel had a bunch of neat gizmos to measure wind, temperature and other things to help him explain the course.
Tracy Kuhaulua (she said God brought her back to go to school) said she was already in The Sustainability Club, but would check out the course.
Sherry Amimoto said the cafeteria has expanded to include bento for those looking to pick and go and Earl Nishiguchi said people can still register for classes through Friday afternoon to help pick up the deficit in enrollment.
Wesley Elmore is done helping with the farm fair and now is setting his sights on the Labor Day Breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. Monday at Parish Hall behind King Auto Center. Tickets are available now at the Lihue United Church of Christ office, or through members.
