Trysen Kaneshige was busy getting last-minute stuff for his mural project which he said will start Tuesday with the rest of the crew coming in Friday to help with the project at Kapaa High School.
Stacie Chiba-Miguel said Kukui Grove will hold a job fair (Ross’s looks like it’s coming along nicely) on Aug. 23, coinciding with the Alzheimer’s Walk, and Wayne Mukai was out checking the Monday market during a late lunch hour (and we thought he was finalizing the job fair). Mahalo to Stephanie Ano for the help with this week’s Check Da Scene (hard to do when everything is canceled!).
OK, time to get ready and see what Scott Giarman and the Kauai United Way needs during the 2014 campaign launch Thursday at the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa.
