LIHUE — The Elections Division of the Office of the County Clerk is reminding the public that the last day to register to vote for the 2014 general election is Monday, Oct. 6.
Eligible voters must be a U.S. citizen, a resident of Hawaii, and be at least 18 years old.
Voter registration forms are available at www.hawaii.gov/elections and at U.S. post offices, public libraries and most state agencies.
If mailed, voter registration forms must be postmarked on or before Oct. 6 and must be accompanied by a photocopy of the applicant’s current, valid photo identification. Other acceptable forms of identification include: Current utility bill, bank statement, government check or paycheck.
Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 4.
