Arlene Yoshimori was enjoying her Tuesday in Poipu, celebrating Alexis Bothwell’s final few days in the Grand Hyatt Kauai’s Banquet Department.
Bothwell said her final day is Saturday and she’s going to spend time (a lot) enjoying the island before leaving for Florida.
“If it’s Tuesday, it’s steak and Kauai Shrimp,” said Cris Rabin of the Koloa Big Save who was grilling up a batch of Sterling Silver meat much to the delight of Jared Astrologio (he said Kauai got the trophy for the Shop and Score during the state football game last year), Edmar Yago, Curran Dela Cruz and Sergio Pascual, who was enjoying the shade cast by a hedge on the west end of the parking lot.
If you haven’t gotten your rubber duck, hurry — the race is from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, hosted by Hoomalu Thrift Shop in Wailua.
