The second “Color Relay Extravagana” is scheduled Saturday at Puakea Golf Course.
Registration is at 6 a.m., with zumba at 6:15, the color explosion celebration at 6:45 and the run/walk at 7.
Cost is $20 for adults, $10 for students, and includes a white T-shirt and color powder packet.
Participants will follow the paved path that winds through the scenic golf course, 4150 Nuhou St. in Lihue.
Along the way, they will pass through stations, where volunteers will toss colored corn starch at them. Glasses and goggles or bandanas are recommended. Anyone planning to carry a cellphone should place it in a plastic bag.
The fun run is a fundraiser for the Kapaa Middle School Choir and Ukulele Band, which is planning a trip to Anaheim, California, to perform, in the Heritage Music Festival in March.
There will also be Puakea’s Ice Bucket Challenge. The $5 donation will go to the ALS Association Golden West Chapter.
Registration forms are available at www.kmscolorrelay.weebly.com and at Kapaa Middle School.
