Lihue quarterback Michael Questin, one of three signal callers used by the Patriots, swung right and emerged through traffic for a 40-yard touchdown 13 seconds before halftime.
The score broke a 6-6 deadlock and gave the Pats a 12-6 lead at the half in the makeup game scheduled after Hurricane Ana canceled the earlier affair.
The Eagles capped a 72-yard opening drive when Aukai Emayo, one of several signal callers used by the Eagles, pushed up the middle for a 1-yard score.
Ah Loo added to the Patriot lead when he capped a 54-yard drive to open the second half with a 2-yard charge up the middle for a 18-6 lead.
Qyrin Ibaan weaved through traffic for a 15-yard Eagles’ score with 38 seconds left in the game.
Lihue’s first touchdown came in the second quarter when Jahz Dotimas-Batangan went 22 yards for pay dirt.
Kauai Pop Warner Football League commissioner Teddy Arroyo said the game completes the regular season, but four teams from Oahu and one from Maui will be playing in the Harold Naumu Bowl Saturday and the Shriners Bowl on Sunday at Vidinha Stadium.
Games start at 8:30 a.m. each day.
