Bunkichi Matsuyoshi of Waimea, Kauai passed away at the age of 94 on October 8, 2014 at his home in Waimea. Born on February 6, 1920 in Hilo, Hawaii, he was a Retired Electrician and a WWII Veteran 100th Infantry Battalion.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Shizue Matsuyoshi.
He is survived by his two sons Kenneth Matsuyoshi – Waimea, Gary Matsuyoshi – Waimea; 1 Daughter: Carol Matsuyoshi – OR; 1 Brother: Seizen Inamine- CA; 1 Sister: Yuriko Imamine – Honolulu. Numerous nieces & nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday November 5, 2014 at Kauai Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe from 3:00 pm and Burial will at 3:15 pm.
Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.
