Art Umezu said Megumi is doing a series of visits (she was talking with Daphne Sanchez at The Jam Room Friday) so she can talk about her trip on the radio.
Kudos to Jannik Evanoff who now owns Copper Hopper, a betta, after getting good grades and saving up his money for weeks.
Laurie Ho was at the Kauai Handworks craft fair before hitting the market, and Wendi Magaoay (check out her piece at the Kauai Society of Artists gallery in Kukui Grove!) was giving away one of her hibiscus prints, getting help from Island School girls volleyball coach Brad Sato in fielding orders for not only her gingerbread ornaments, but her prints and notecard sets.
OK, time to go see Maunakea Trask get approved by the County Council and then off to the inauguration.
