Eight young women will vie on Saturday for two opportunities to represent Kauai at this year’s Miss Hawaii pageant in Honolulu.
The titles of Miss Paradise Kauai and Miss Garden Isle, currently held by Miss Hawaii titleholder Stephanie Steuri and Topaz Fernandez, respectively, will be passed on at this year’s scholarship pageant and program, beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Kauai Community College Performing Arts Center in Puhi.
An article appearing in TGIFr!day today incorrectly listed the date of the pageant.
The contestants competing this year are: Sarah Alonzo; Guinevere Davenport; Shelbi Shimazu; Sarah Manuel; Ruby Hawthorne; Nicholette Levinthol; Kiana Pascua; and Hualalai Grance.
Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door.
