Lucinda Ancheta
Lucinda “Cindy” G. Ancheta passed away on Dec. 23, 2014, at Wilcox Hospital at the age of 63. Born in Honolulu on Oct. 9, 1951, she was employed by Hawaiian Telephone Co. and was a devoted wife and mother.
Preceded in death by parents Walter and Agnes Silva, brother Vernon Gregory and Sister Ireiner Antenorcruz.
She is survived by her husband Fred Ancheta, sons Jonathan “JJ” (Mel) and Fred, daughter Rene (Albert) Cummings. Grandchildren Ashton, Casey and Aliya. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday, Jan. 12, 2015, at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Kapaa. Visitation will be 9 to 9:45 a.m. with mass to follow at 10 a.m. Followed by burial at St. Catherine’s Cemetery Kealia. Family requests casual attire.

Hsiu “Sue” C. Hsieh of Lawai, Kauai, Hawaii passed away on Dec. 28, 2014, at the age of 63. Born on May 6, 1951, in Changhua, Taiwan. She was the owner of Lawai General Store.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Okumura.
She is survived by her husband, Tim Keehn, Kalaheo; ex-husband, Rickey Mc Farland; sons, Kurtis (Melody) Mc Farland, Eleele, Kevin (Lisa) Mc Farland, Texas; daughters, Julie Mc Farland, Eleele, Jennifer (Kekoa) Makaneole, Puhi, 13 grandchildren.
A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015, at Saint John’s Episcopal Church, Eleele.
Visitation at 9:30 a.m., Service at 10 a.m.
Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary Koloa, Kauai.
