LIHUE — The Agency on Elderly Affairs is accepting nominations for the 2015 Outstanding Male and Female Older American awards.
The program aims to honor adults age 65 and older who have made exceptional contributions to their community through service and/or special projects.
Nomination forms are available at the Agency on Elderly Affairs office from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday at the Lihue Civic Center, Piikoi Building, Suite 330.
The deadline to submit a nomination is Feb. 28.
Nominees will be honored at an awards ceremony in May and the winner will be announced at the event. Those selected will represent Kauai at a ceremony on Oahu in June.
