The Monday morning announcement by the HHSAA has the Warriors, who clinched the Kauai Interscholastic Federation title Saturday with a 9-0 win over Island School, facing unseeded Hawaii Preparatory Academy in the quarterfinals of the state tournament.
Mid Pacific Institute earns the top seed with Kamehameha Schools-Big Island the No. 2 seed. Kailua is the No. 3 seed and will face the winner of a play-in game between Waianae and Honokaa scheduled for Feb. 21 on the Big Island.
The final team in Division II is Waipahu, who will square off against MPI, Thursday.
The state championship game for Division II is scheduled for 5 p.m. Saturday.
Division I seedings, which were announced Sunday, include Iolani earning the top seed. Mililani earns the No. 2 seed, Kealakehe is the No. 3 seed, and Kamehameha Schools-Maui is the No. 4 seed.
