With Easter a week away, there will be more events popping up on the calendar. Autumn Wigley said there is the “egg-citing” Kukui Grove Spring Celebration on Saturday from 11 a.m. Wonder how Sponge Bob gets along with the Easter Bunny …
Marga Goosen made it home for at least one Sanctuary Ocean Count on Saturday. Even got to see the Canadian Tess Longlade who has been to Antarctica to count whales. Of course, you had to have the glasses like Tess, Colleen Ogino and Lani Tamanaha-Broadbent to be able to see all the whales way out on the horizon.
OK, the week is starting to shape up with the promise of a great volleyball game in Kapaa Tuesday (Greg Gonsalves was doing microphone and scoreboard duty at Saturday’s game), and another great softball game Wednesday out at the Waimea Canyon Park.
