KAPAA — The water conservation request for the lower Kapahi area has been lifted as of 3 p.m., today.
All residents and businesses in the area may return to normal water usage. The Department of Water was able to resolve the mechanical issue at the Kapaa tank site. However, an airlock is causing low water pressure to occur in various service lines on or near Kawaihau Road.
The DOW was able to isolate the airlock and will continue to flush out the system until water pressure returns to normal for all service lines.
For more information, please call the Department of Water at 245-5455.
