Kauai public high school students were awarded scholarships at the annual award luncheon of the Kauai Masonic Lodge. Waimea High senior Daisy Coloma, Kauai High senior Kiana Okino and Kapaa senior Aaryn Gray each received a $1,000 scholarship for the colleges of their choice.

Waimea High senior Daisy Coloma, Kauai High senior Kiana Okino and Kapaa senior Aaryn Gray each received a $1,000 scholarship for the colleges of their choice. Sophomore Bronwyn Kay of Kauai High was awarded the Benjamin Award of $100 for her essay.
This year’s topic was “Which of the three branches of the U.S. government is the most important, the Legislative, Executive or Judicial?” Each students’ essay had to support the position taken on the question.
