Hildred Kamaka
Hildred K. Palea Kamaka of Kekaha passed away on March 21, 2015 at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital at the age of 77. Born on December 12, 1937, in Waimea, Kauai, she was a homemaker and caregiver.
Preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Kamaka, father, William Palea, and mother, Henrietta Nordmeier Palea.
She is survived by her sons, Kaneala and Kimo Kamaka, both of Kekaha; daughters, Danelle (Kaimi) Kamaka of Kekaha, Anna Kamaka of Kekaha, and Denise (Wilbur) Parubrub of Kaumakani, hanai daughters, Keikilani Dela Cruz of Waimea, Noelani Dela Cruz of Hanapepe, and Alaina Duarte of Waimea. Aunty Hildred was a childcare provider for over 40 years. She has many hanai children. Also surviving is her sister, Rhoda (Howard) Vinhasa of Ewa Beach; nine grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on April 11, 2015 at Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Kekaha Ward). Viewing and services is from 9 am to 12 noon, with burial to follow at the Kekaha Hawaiian Cemetery. Casual attire.

Terry Taylor long time resident of Hanalei and Ko’olau died after a long illness back in his home, in the Town of Newcastle Australia on March 28 2015.
Terry was Bay energy electrical contracting day and nigh. He will be greatly missed by his many friends who he would always wish all the best.
