Kauai Board of Realtors will host its Helicopter Golf Ball Fundraiser on Thursday, May 7 at the Kauai Habitat for Humanity’s new Eleele Iluna Neighborhood subdivision.
From way up high, 1,000 golf ball will be dropped. The owner of the ball dropped closest to the pin will win $1,000. Donations for each ball ($20 recommended) are being accepted to help raise funds for the Kauai Habitat for Humanity and the Kauai Lifeguard Association.
Following the golf ball drop, Kauai Habitat for Humanity will hold its blessing to celebrate the completion of infrastructure work and 48 lots on phase II-A of the Eleele Iluna Subdivision project.
The Kauai Board of Realtors is a nonprofit corporation that provides community resource information yet relies totally on membership dues as the main source of income.
Kauai Habitat for Humanity is a local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, an ecumenical, nonprofit, Christian housing ministry. Its mission is to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world — one house at a time on Kauai — and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action.
