May Kuulei Orlando (Dias) of Anahola passed away in Wilcox Memorial Hospital on May 4, 2015, at the age of 66. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on May 1, 1949, and retired as a CNA after 40 years with numerous agencies and private parties.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert John Dias and Charollette Kauo Dias; son, Keoki Haoli Orlando; and sister, Francis Dias.
May is survived by her son, Guy Ali’i Dias; daughter, Gloria “Lei Ann” Gibbons; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Charlotte Kamaka, Catharine Palama, Yvonne Heanu; numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2015, at the Pillars in Anahola Park beginning at 1 p.m.
Kauai Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Bonnie Rose Baki
Bonnie Rose Baki of Wailua, Kauai, passed away on April 17, 2015, at the age of 71. Born on Sept. 5, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan, she was a licensed speech pathologist and elementary school teacher in the California Napa Valley School District for 30 years. She retired in 2000 and moved to Kauai, where she was a valued employee in the garden department at Home Depot.
She is survived by her six first cousins, Steven Gatzka of Sun City, Calif., David Gatzka of Sun Valley, Calif., Gloria Olney of Mayfield, Kentucky, James Farkas of Northville, Mich., Michael Farkas of Richardson, Texas, and Frederick Farkas of Owasso, Mich., and many close friends, neighbors, and work associates.
Services will be held at a future date.

Katherine Shizuko Urabe
Katherine Shizuko Urabe of Kapaa passed away on May 5, 2015 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 91. Born on Jan. 11, 1924, in Koloa, she was a retired proprietor with Urabe Store.
She is survived by her son, Clifford (Gail) Urabe of Mililani; daughters, Sheila Yamashiro of Kapaa, and Joyce (Clifton) Sato of Kalaheo; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Toshio (Setsuko) Kobayashi of Koloa, Takeshi (Alice) Kobayashi of Pearl City, Shizuo (Joan) Kobayashi of Kaneohe, James (Lillian) Kobayashi of Wailua, Tatsuo (Julia) Kobayashi of Lihue, and Stanley (Bette) Kobayashi of Koloa; sister, Kikuyo Inouye of Mililani; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private services were held.

Clyde Tomio Yoshimori
Clyde Tomio Yoshimori of Lihue, Kauai, passed away in his home on Saturday, May 16, 2015, at the age of 67. Born on March 11, 1948, in Lihue, he worked for McBryde Sugar Plantation until they closed, then Lihue Plantation, and, finally, Aqua Engineers from which he retired. He was also a Vietnam War veteran who served in the Navy.
Raised in Koloa, Kauai, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gwendolyn; parents, Hideto and Sumiko Yoshimori of Koloa; and sister, Aileen Schecter of Honolulu.
He is survived by his son, Isaac (Karen Ching-Silva) Yoshimori of Lawai; two daughters, Esther (James) Miller of Kapaa, and Naomi (Don) Lewanski of Lihue; three grandchildren; two brothers, Warren (Janis) Yoshimori of Kapaa, and Lloyd (Cheryl) Yoshimori of Kaneohe.
Friends may visit with the family from 9:15 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel; service officiated by the Rev. Niles Kageyama will begin at 10 a.m. Casual attire is suggested.

Natsue Iwamoto
Natsue Iwamoto of Omao, Kauai, passed away on May 24, 2015, at the age of 92. She was born on July 17, 1922, in Omao, Kauai.
Natsue is survived by her son, Harold H. Iwamoto of Eleele; daughters, Janice (Donald) I. Nishiki of Waipahu, Joyce F. Fujimoto of Aiea, and Sharon (Raymond) C. Tanaka of Pearl City; brother, Donald M. Konishi of Omao; sister, Linda A. Kawakami of Lawai; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family has chosen to hold a private service. The family requests no koden and flowers.

Mitsuko Miyazaki
Mitsuko Miyazaki passed away on May 18, 2015, at Kauai Care Center at the age of 94. Born on Nov. 4, 1920, she was a janitress with the Sate of Hawaii at Eleele School.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Fusetsu Miyazaki; and survived by her three daughters, Anne Yoshioka of Wailuku, Maui, Laura Miyazaki of Honolulu, Oahu, and Janice (David) Ishibashi of Kalaheo, Kauai; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and brother, Thomas Kurosaki of Lihue, Kauai.
Private services held. Family requests no koden.

Mamoru Wakuta
Mamoru Wakuta of Kapahi passed away on May 7, 2015, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital, at the age of 89. Born on July 11, 1925, in Halaula, Kauai, he was a retired farmer and heavy equipment operator. He is also a veteran of the United States Army.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Matsu and Mito Wakuta; wife, Kishiye Okumura Wakuta; brother, Hideo Wakuta; and sisters, Edith Nakasone and Kiyoko Miyasato.
He is survived by his wife, Sachiko Matsukami Takahashi; three sons, Dean (Virgie) Wakuta, Terence (Naomi) Wakuta, and Stuart (Lori) Wakuta; seven grandchildren, Korin Ann (Charles) Wakuta-Kenney, Bradley (Ashley) Wakuta, Tyler (Ashley) Wakuta, Kiley Wakuta, Kristen Wakuta, Tarren Wakuta and Keio Wakuta; and six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Seichi (June) Wakuta of California; sister, Shizue Sakihama of Kapahi, Kauai; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
